The Spot5 mosaic of South Africa, Swaziland and Lesotho was compiled from Spot5 scenes of year 2005 and 2006.
Scene ID # and acquisition date at a specific location can be supplied upon request.
The mosaic was originally produced by Infoterra (western mosaic) and EODS, Satellite Application Centre, CSIR (eastern mosaic) at a resolution of 2.5m/px. The two mosaics were combined by MadMappers in 2007. All geospatial datasets were projected in Geographic (Lat/Long)
In terms of present licencing conditions only a resolution of 10m/px can be made available to the public.
The 10m/px Spot5 layer is also available in MadMap which is based on Nowak's MAP 2D viewer.
